Hello and welcome to the Fife rabbit rescue website.
To use the site to it's full advantage please click *register* on the left-hand column.
Here at the rescue I aim to rescue and rehome rabbits from all different circumstances. All the rabbits are neutered and vaccinated and most of them are put into pairs to be rehomed. They all have good-sized hutches and lots of exercise in secure runs in the garden. I also keep some single rabbits to bond with rabbits that people may already have. I can assist with bonding of rabbits here at the rescue if it is required.
If you are thinking about adopting rabbits, please call me first before buying a hutch or anything else, i can help you find the best products for you and save you lots of money!
I hope you enjoy the website, there is shoutbox to chat to other members and also a message board where you can find help or ask any questions. There are also lots and lots of photographs to look at!!
Many other items available also, order directly to Kellowen, stating your order is via Fife rabbit rescue , the rescue will recieve a donation for orders placed. email kellowen@aol.com
I can have rabbit hutches built if required, they are of excellent quality and can be viewed here at the rescue. They are 6ft x 2.5 x 2.5 £140 ( super hutches! ) but the best housing for your rabbits would be a shed or playhouse with attached run
You will notice on my " our Rabbit" page that lots of them are in pairs. Rabbits should always live in pairs or small groups. I only re home pairs of rabbits, but I also do rabbit bonding, so if you have a single neutered rabbit and want to find it a partner then please get in touch. I have several single rabbits looking for a friend.
(Nov23rd)I have just heard from a local vet that there have been confirmed cases of VHD in Perth, if you live in this or surrounding area please ensure your rabbit is vaccinated as soon as possible.
I have heard today (Nov 30th) that there is an outbreak of VHD in The Ellon Area of Aberdeeshire.
Fife rabbit rescue is run from my home in Newburgh; the rescue survives from donations I receive when rabbits are rehomed and sometimes from donations that are given when rabbits come into the rescue and from occasional fund raising. When adopting rabbits from the rescue. I require a minimum donation of £65 for a female and £50 for a male. This helps to cover some of what I have spent on the rabbits for neutering and vaccinations as well as any other treatment they may have required.
I run Fife rabbit rescue on my own and receive no payment for what I do, it is totally voluntary. All the donations are used to pay for vets’ fees, dried food, hay, wood shavings, litter trays, fresh veg and fruit, pet carriers, water bottles, bowls, heat pads, indoor cages and lots more!
Donations are always very welcome you can click the donate button on the home page to pay via paypal or you can pay by cheque, please contact me for details. Thank you very much.
