Hey everyone,
Nicola sorry it didn't work out with Brock and Starsky. Or with wee Gus.I know you will be gutted, but there will be other buns for Starsky and she will match with somebunny eventually. The same thing happened with Nacho, he was biting everyone the first time he came to Kareens, but now he is blissfully happy with Buffy, thay are cuddled up all the time, so there is hope!
Ashley hope your doing Ok.
Gwen i have never had an MRI, but i've had a CT on quite a few occasions, which was like being passed through a huge polomint on a bed. It wasn't too scary, a wee bit noisy, i'm sure you'll be ok, just ask lots an lots of questions to the staff to put your mind at ease.
Sharon how is Flynn?
Hope all other buns and people!! are well
P x
PS i meant to ask, what is the shout box...i've heard people mention it.....?

Paula - The shout box is on the Home page below the log in details. If you are sending a message "DONT" press the return key - you will send your message. Just a quick message box - all that we had before Kareen had the idea for this chat box!
Dont shout a big message - and they don't have a history (memory) - just like me. ;)

Thanks everyone. I'm feeling better already. I don't mind it being to much like a coffin Ashley as long as they don't nail the lid down...yet! :D . Hopefully it will pass quick. The consultant did say it was quite noisy but they apparently give you music to listen to. Loads of people get them everyday so they can't be too bad. I'll just think lots of nice bunny thoughts to pass the time.

I'm sorry to hear about Starsky frightening all the boys away Nicola. I remember how Nacho was with Misty and another bun Paul and you're right, it just has to be the right time and bun. I don't know what to expect with Maddie when she goes to meet somebun - probably the same initially, I hope not though. She is just so alone just now. All she does outside is lie under her seesaw ALL BY HERSELF (anyone feel a song coming on :D ). I just feel so sad for her :( .
Anyway Nicola, don't you feel too bad (though I bet your disappointed re Broke - he's lovely, eh?). Did you see the lambing programme last night? They introduced 2 rams to do their business and they both turned and fled when all the ewes came towards them :D . It was really funny :D . See, Starsky is just a typical female, chasing the males away. She has to be sure it's the right one ;) .

I hope Starsky will find a boy she likes, I am sure the right bun will come along for her.

I hope you will be ok on Wednesday Gwen. I missed lambing live last night because I was away doing project stuff. I am watching it tonight though. I helped out with lambing at a farm a few years ago and got to deliver some of the lambs. I really enjoyed it but it was very messy :o The best bit was getting to cuddle the orphan ones and give them their bottles :) It was a shame that they didn't have their mums though :(

Ashley I hope alfie and daisy become really good friends xx

Gwen good luck for your scan I'm sure you'll be fine. :).
Glad Marley is more trusting xx

Sharon how is Flynn? Sending hugs to you all xx

Well.. I have been trying Sophie and Kizzy together, with Kareens great advice *touch wood* it seems to be going ok. I was very unsure as Kizzy just doesn't seem keen on other rabbits and will not interact with them what so ever and with Sophies sight and she can be a bit grumpy I was a bit wary. I put them together on saturday and they were fine.. Kizzy even groomed sophie which is a miracle!! I seperated them at night but they could still see each other then I put them together yesterday morning and they have been together since! They kinda ignore each other but occasionally sophie goes over to him and he will groom her head but sophie is still a little jumpy but they are doing so well! So fingers crossed!!! I don't want to get my hopes up to much but we'll see! Thank you again Kareen for the advice and support :) xxx

Paula - PM
Hayley - great news about the bonding - hope they continue to like each other.
Bramble and Snowflake - chase each other, then groom each other a minute later. Just can't fathom that at all!
Dinky and Thumper - shadow each other. Groom each other, sit/sleep on each other (as a pillow) then sit apart.
I think they do their own thing - so long as there is no fighting great news. Cuddles to all

Hayley, that's great news about Sophie and Kizzy. I really hope it works out for them both :) xx

Wow, Ashley. That must have been an amazing experience helping with the lambing. I was watching Kate help feed the orphans last night and cuddle them :D . Aww! Ah, I know :D . Maybe Maddie would like a LAMB to bond with instead ;D . No? Oh, well, I can dream, eh? :D . I hope you are OK and uni is going well. Good to hear about Daisy and ? getting closer. I'm sorry Ashley - I can't remember her mate's name again :( . My mind is awful just now.

Apologies to you too Paula for missing the 'a' off your name last night - and Broke is really called BROCK! I don't know what the heck is wrong with me just now but words are coming out all muddled up - when I speak or write! I can hardly even see properly to drive either. Think I'm just cracking up :o .

Hope everyone else is well today. Looks like it's going to be another lovely day :) .

The Trio of mini lops are now in the rescue!!! they arrived at the new owners house in a hutch far too small for them, so I have had to take them in here and put them in a big hutch. They are all fine but are not mini Lops but dwarf lops and were cramped in a 2 storey 4 ft hutch. All will see the vet tomorrow, so I guess we need to do another fund raiser!! :D It is never ending :(

I trimmed Nibbles' claws earlier and noticed she had broken one of her claws slightly. I forget the proper name for it, the digit on the front paws that curves round. About half of it has broken off. :o The end had some dried blood on it. I have no idea what she has caught it on. She hasn't been limping or showing any signs of discomfort but she was definitely less thrilled for me to look at that part of her foot than the rest. Casper's claws seem to grow a lot more slowly. Nibbles has also developed a nasty habit. She has eaten one side of her litter tray in the last few days. I couldn't believe it when I saw the hole! Looks like we'll be investing in a more solid litter tray.

Dew claw, that's it. Yeah, I trimmed the other one a little. It's so odd that it's never occurred to her to eat her litter tray before. Little monkey. ;D

Hi,
Ashley im sorry to hear about minstrel its never easy losing a bun.
I hope everyone else is well buns too.I just found out that i will be getting the cottage in about 3 weeks.I cant wait but dread the packing.before i had children and when i just had 1 i moved 10 times in 3 years, but the last 6 years have been settled and with 5 children the amount of stuff we have isnt real and the children dont have that much stuff compared with others.
I have just bought 2 larger carriers for my 2 pairs from argos and they look good will give them a try soon as all buns are needing their vaccinations, should of been back in Jan.I dont know where the time has gone.
I got a kitten on Sunday and im really pleased how well it gets on with Lily and Rodger. They are never left alone though ,Rodger and Moppet have already has kisses but Lily as always keeps her distance till Rodger has given the all clear. Its really funny she has gotten really affectionate all of a sudden.I give her extra cuddles and a treat as i dont want her to feel left out.
Hugs to everyone who needs one.

Gwen, i hope your MRI scan goes ok. Great that your making progress with Marley :) .

Nicola, such a shame about things not working with Brock or Gus :( dont give up though, im sure the right husbun is out there somewhere.

Hayley, i hope Sophie and Kizzy bond, it would be lovely for them both.

Ashley hope your doing ok.

Kareen, i am very annoyed about the trio of lops being in such a small hutch >:( . Poor wee souls.

Firefly, broken claws always looks really dramatic, there is so much blood. I have chew proof horse feed trugs for my bunnies hay, maybe horses cant chew them but bunnies certainly can :D .

Shelley, hope your move goes well. How lovely about your kitty too, we need pictures.

Flynn is doing ok. Though i got a massive fright yesterday, i came down stairs in the morning and he was on his side, mouth open. I was devastated, went to touch his side, expecting him to be cold, but he jumped up :o . I honestly got the biggest fright of my life, with the biggest relief of my life shortly after :D . He is slowing down a bit now, not really wanting to move much which is very sad. I was hoping he would not deteriorate further. He also gets very dizzy when lifted and has massive rolling fits, he must be very dizzy. I am off for the next two and a half days so will be keeping a good eye on him and praying he shows some improvement.
My heart has joined the thousand, for my friend stopped running today.
Sweet dreams Bigwig, always loved, find our friends at The Bridge.
Flynn Jan 2004 - 23rd April 2010 My Legend, my friend, my Flynn, love you to the moon and back
